Pull & release - a mixed-abled dance workshop for everyone
You would like to get to know contemporary dance? But you are not sure if you can get into it with your wheelchair or reduced eyesight?
Then this workshop offers you the opportunity to try out movement forms of contemporary dance without any previous knowledge. With the help of elastic straps you will easily get in touch with dance principles and other participants. Let the ribbons tempt you to discover completely new, exciting and surprising movements.

Hannah Dewor is a certified contemporary and modern stage dancer (studied in Cologne and Amsterdam) and completed her Master's degree in Contemporary Dance Education at the University of Music and Performing Arts Frankfurt in 2012. She is active in Frankfurt and the surrounding area as a dancer, choreographer and dance teacher. For the past 10 years, Hannah has been involved with contemporary dance at the intersection of art and education. Since 2014, she has been artistic co-director of the mixed-abled ensemble Barefeet, whose productions have been shown at the Gallustheater Frankfurt as well as the Landestheater Neuss (ensemble-barefeet.de).

Karoline Hinkfoth works as an educationalist in the field of anti-discrimination and solidarity work. In diverse educational formats, she develops paths with people to a world that offers more self-determination and opportunities for development for all. Karoline has been gathering her own dance experiences since 2015. She is particularly interested in the movement, encounter and interaction spaces of disabled and non-disabled bodies in dance. In the 2021/22 season, Karoline was co-teacher of the first inclusive dance club Balances at the Staatstheater Darmstadt and has also been giving dance workshops since then.
