Exposure to dance has been proven to have a remarkable impact on the creative, social and analytical development of children and young people. Nevertheless, there is often a fear of contact with this art form in the school context. Yet the collaboration between dance and schools offers many opportunities for encounters, exchange and mutual learning. Together with dance professionals, teachers and educators, we want to identify the needs, challenges and expectations and explore how we can build stronger partnerships and work together effectively to sensitize children and young people to contemporary dance.
