This workshop is aimed at parents who would like to spend time with their child in a new and playful environment. In addition to an introduction to the world of dance, this workshop also explores and deepens their relationship with each other. After a warm-up, in which Elias uses his background in breakdancing and Raimonda incorporates her knowledge of contemporary dance into the movements and sequences, we will then transform seemingly everyday activities such as walking or running into dance movement. The aim is to find a new way of communicating with each other that is based solely on touch, movement and the interaction between two people. The aim is to strengthen mutual trust in the long term.
Raimonda Gudavičiūtė was born in Lithuania, where she started dancing at the age of nine. She began her training as a professional dancer and choreographer with a bachelor's degree in Vilnius and completed it with a master's degree in Helsinki, Finland, in 2009. Since then, she has been working as a freelance artist in the Rhine-Main region and has successfully toured internationally with her pieces.
Elias Haun is 10 years old and attends the Römerhof grammar school in Frankfurt. He has danced a lot from an early age and has been taking breakdance lessons since he was 5. In 2020, he danced with his mother in the dance film M(e)&M(other), and a year later he appeared on stage with her in the dance piece M(other).
