Afrofusion refers to the mix of different African dance styles. In Debby's courses, the focus is on exploring one's own body anew and coming into harmony with it, thereby promoting self-confidence. In addition to cultural mediation, the idea of community plays a special role for Debby. Dancing is more than just a hobby or profession, it is a form of expression, but also a tool for connecting with others.
Debby studied Political Science & Sociology at TU Darmstadt and has been teaching Afrofusion in Darmstadt since October 2020. She is also a political educator for anti-discrimination, empathy & mindfulness.
